UNAGI Rice Burger

<serves 4>

  • 680g Cooked Japanese rice
  • 4tbs Potato starch
  • 2tsp Soy sauce
  • 1tsp Sesame oil
  • 2packs JFC UNAGI KABAYAKI, cut into half
  • 1/2 Avocado, peel and slice
  • 120g Lettuce
  • Japanese mayonnaise


  1. Put hot cooked Rice in a large bowl, add potato starch and soy sauce and mix well. Then divide into 8. Then shape into disk 10cm across.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a large flying pan over medium-high heat. Add the dick shaped rice and cook for 2-3mins each side until outside color turn into light brown.
  3. Heat up JFC KABAYAKI UNAGI in accordance with the serving direction (see the eel package)
  4. Place the JFC KABAYAKI UNAGI in the rice buns with lettuce, sliced avocado and Japanese mayonnaise. Serve while hot.
