Japanese salads week!

yuri

Happy Monday! As Kayla was excited to mention in Hello Spring, lately it’s really good to be at the beach. Have you been to the beach on the weekend? I have!

It’s really excited to feel the sun at the beach but it has also made me start to think about a summer bikini body!! 🙂

Doesn’t matter it it’s a one piece or bikini, even T-shirt and hot pants… I just want to remove this tummy fat!

Yes, it’s important to exercise – like running and going to the gym – to get a gorgeous body. But we can start today by choosing heart healthy meals!

First of all, I’ll tell you how to cook Japanese salad at home as an easy, healthy choice.

This recipe is for a high protein Japanese salad with a mineral and probiotics dressing.

My favourite homemade salad is really easy to cook. Only takes 15min!

-for the probiotics dressing –

Seasoning for the dressing

Method

1. Make the dried hijiki and seaweed soft by soaking them in water.

2. Mix the ingredients for the dressing in a large bowl. Add the drained hijiki, seaweed, broccoli, tuna, baby spinach and tomato

Both Yogurt and Miso are probiotics which are very good for your health as I mentioned in  Natto,

Black sesame paste is the best ingredient – it has huge health benefits such as being a great source of protein, reducing blood pressure, and gives you great skin, hair and eyes!

I always add a bit soy sauce to give a bit of extra flavour. 🙂

Don’t have time to cook?

Osaka Bar

This pork belly warm salad has a citrus soy sauce dressing. You don’t think pork belly is healthy at all? Don’t worry, this method of cooking is shabu shabu. It means to reduce fatty part of the pork belly. And the grated radish will makes it healthier.

My last tip is most important to make your meals healthier.

Eat salad first, what you eat next doesn’t matter. Try eating the least healthy option at the table last. Salads, normally comes with acid from lemon juice or vinegar which makes your digestion slow down. The vegetables will make you feel fuller so it’ll be easy to avoid over eating and eating too many bad things! 🙂

Enjoy Japanese salad to start being healthy from this week.

Have a wonderful day and a week ahead! 🙂
